It’s time for Joslin's first ever Jog-a-thon fundraiser! Now through March 27th, our students can raise money for a new sport court surface for the blacktop outside. The run will take place on March 28th during the school day, when all students will walk or run a designated course around Joslin Park.

When:  March 28 during PE class

Where:  Joslin Park (or, in case of inclement weather, the gym)

Why:  We are raising funds for a new sport court surface for the blacktop outside

Goal: $20,000 - If every student at Joslin raises $80, we will reach our goal!

What you need to do ✅

Register your student by visiting https://app.99pledges.com/fund/joslinjogs25/addme and filling out your student’s name, their class, and your email address.  You will receive both a unique URL to share with friends and family and a unique URL to “log in” and add a picture of your student, if you wish. Donations to a specific runner can also be made via Venmo: @Joslin-PTA or by check dropped off to the front office (include the name of the runner and word “Jog-A-Thon” in the memo).  Cash, Check and Venmo donations have to be manually entered so we will try our best to allot cash and check donations towards prizes.

Support your student: buy a race-day sign!

If you'd like to create a sign cheering on your runner, Venmo @Joslin-PTA with your student's name and "Jog-a-thon sign" in the memo. Starting Monday, March 24th, we will have poster board for you to pick up at school and decorate for your runner. Return your sign by the end of the school day on Thursday, March 27th and we'll have the posters lining the race route on the 28th!

● 7:55 AM - 8:40 AM Prek & Kindergarten
● 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM 1st Graders
● 9:35 AM - 10:20 AM 2nd Graders
● 12:40 PM - 1:25 PM 3rd Graders
● 1:30 PM - 2:15 PM 4th Graders & Life Skills
● 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM 5th Graders​​

Each class will walk/run a route in Joslin Park (like this year's Turkey Trot!). Students will receive a raffle ticket for each lap run!

Prizes 🏆

Every student will receive a medal for participating. All students are encouraged to reach their individual donation goal of $50.​ Rewards will also be given for the following classroom goals:

• Classroom with the highest percentage of students registered

• Top fundraising classroom

• Top fundraising grade level
